We clear gutters by hand rather than blowing debris across your roof and landscaping. Leaves, shingle grit and the seed pods DFW trees drop all spring get bagged and taken with us, then we flush the runs with water and watch the downspouts to confirm they actually drain. A gutter that looks empty but does not flow is still a gutter that will overflow in the next real storm.
While we are up there we look at the obvious things and tell you what we see: loose spikes or hangers, separated seams, sections pitched the wrong way, downspouts dumping against the foundation instead of away from it. We are window cleaners, not roofers, so this is a report rather than a repair quote — but knowing about it in September beats finding out in a May thunderstorm.
The practical reason to bundle this with window cleaning is simple: the ladder work is most of the cost. Booking gutters on the same visit as your windows is meaningfully cheaper than two separate trips, and it means the mess from the gutters gets washed off the glass rather than onto it. Most DFW homes want this twice a year — after spring seed drop, and again once the leaves are down.
