What’s included
Screen cleaning is included with every residential window cleaning we do, and it is the step most often skipped elsewhere. A dirty screen undoes a clean window: the first rain pushes the dust sitting in the mesh straight down onto glass you just paid to have cleaned. We pull each screen, wash the mesh and the frame, dry it, and reinstall it in the opening it came out of.
Screens also hide problems. Once they are out we can see the tracks, the weep holes and the frame corners properly, and that is where the grit, pollen and webbing actually collect. Clearing them is part of the job rather than an add-on — it is the difference between a window that stays clean for months and one that looks tired again after the first windy week.
If a screen is torn, stretched, bent or missing, we can re-mesh it. Standard fiberglass mesh for most homes, heavier pet-resistant mesh where a dog or cat has already been through one, and solar screen where afternoon heat on a west-facing room is the real complaint. Repairs are quoted per screen once we have seen the frame — some bend back, some are better replaced, and we will tell you which is which.
